Supervision and Mentoring:
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Who do you offer supervision to?
I offer supervision to qualified counsellors, therapists, and those in training. I also welcome professionals seeking reflective space, mentoring, or guidance in their practice.

2. What’s your approach to supervision?
My supervision is relational, supportive, and grounded in the 7-Eyed Model and Inskipp & Proctor’s tasks of supervision. I hold space to explore the work, the relationship, and what the client brings, always keeping the client at the heart of our discussions.

3. Do you offer individual or group supervision?
Currently, I offer one-to-one supervision. I may consider group supervision in the future depending on interest and availability.

4. How long are sessions, and how often do we meet?
Sessions can be 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes, or 90 minutes long depending on your needs and caseload. We can agree on a rhythm that supports your development and ethical practice.

5. Can I have a one-off or ad hoc session?
Yes, if you’re looking for a one-off reflective space or support around a particular issue, we can arrange a stand-alone session.

6. What’s the difference between mentoring and supervision?
Supervision focuses on your clinical work, ethical practice, and client relationships. Mentoring is broader — it might include support around private practice, managing burnout, or professional growth. I offer both depending on your needs.

7. Are you responsible for my client work?
Supervision is a space to reflect on your practice, explore challenges, and stay connected to ethical and safe ways of working. While I’m here to support and guide you, you are ultimately responsible for the work you do with your clients. I can’t be held accountable for issues that haven’t been brought into supervision.

8. How much do you charge?

The charge is £90.00 for 90 minutes, or £60.00 per 60 minutes, or £45.00 per 45 minutes, or £30 per 30 minutes.

If it is a group supervision then this will cost £45.00 per person per monthly session usually a group meets for 2 hours per month.

9. Do you offer concessions?

I offer reduced-rate spaces for those currently undertaking recognised clinical training. These concessionary rates are intended to support you through the required hours of personal therapy and/or clinical supervision as part of your course.
